Eleanor commenced her musical studies at the age of five. She completed her piano ABRSM Grade 8 at the age of 15 and eventually left for Sydney, Australia to complete her AmusA.

 

Eleanor recently completed her Bachelor of Music Studies (Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, University of Sydney. While studying at the conservatorium, she was under the tutelage of Prof. Nikolai Evrov from Bulgaria. 

 

In year 2000, she achieved  a high distinction for the ABRSM exam and was invited to perform solo at the Victoria Concert Hall (VCH) in Singapore. 

 

Given her great passion for music, Eleanor also participated in the school military band during her secondary school years as sectional leader, picking up the flute and piccolo. She was part of the SYF (Singapore Youth Festival) Outdoor Competition in 2002 (Silver); and Gold award in year 2004.

 

While in Sydney, Eleanor does part time children's choir accompaniment, as well as taking part in the conservatorium choir.
